Chapter 60: Simple natural makeup tutorial

Hi! It's finally up after so much procrastination!! oTL..

This look is more for when you are lazy to put on your usual thicker makeup or when you have to use makeup for work but don't want something too nude or too loud but still has "I have makeup on" written on your face. Its very simple to do, takes me very fast to do it~

This palette was bought from Daiso. The pigments aren't as dark as the good ones because they're pretty cheap, but I don't want a too obvious look here, so this works okay too! If you'd like darker color, you could try another palette or just simply applying more shadow. I use this palette and makeup for my cosplay eyemake base and work from it too!

So here, I've illustrated how to apply the eyeshadows. And YES the drawings belong to me and no, the black around the eyes are for illustration purposes only, please do not draw on so thick and dark eyeliner!! Q_Q
Apply A on your entire eyelid untill the color shows up nicely to ensure the other colors have a light base to make the other colors show better. It should be about a tone lighter than your original skin tone, or you could do it a little whiter, thats fine too because its not very obvious. I like to make it almost as white as the color on the palette itself. Personal preference.

Apply B right along the bottom of your double eyelid, if you do not have any, apply it half the width of A.

Apply C along the the outer corner of the eye and along the crease, apply it darker if you want.

Apply D on the outer corner of the eyes and along the bottom eyelid, gradually making it thinner and fade out, apply it thicker and more winged as you move outwards on the upper lid, apply it darker. Another alternative is use the brown eyeliner lightly along the bottom lid.

Lenses - Ifairy cara blue

This picture is with no eyeshadow applied except for a light wash of  C.

1 - Apply brown gel/pencil eyeliner lightly - you don't want it too dark, make it slightly winged fading out and line a fine black line along the innermost corner of the eyelid.
(OPTIONAL) 2 - Draw a small line along the inner corner of the eye to make it look sharp.
or,
You could do it with a brown eyeliner if you want something that's not obvious but still gives the illusion of sharp corners.

(The picture on the bottom left is just to show how it looks when the eye is closed. No mascara/eyelash applied yet)

3- Apply natural short and sparse fake lashes and mascara coats depending on your liking.

And finish!! I hope you all like it! \o/ Thanks for reading~ <333

Chapter 59: Swollen eyes.. WARNING! Kinda gross pics

Have been having an inflammation on my left eye for the past few days. It started out last week as a sore eye, but I kinda brushed it off as a small matter and put on contact lenses as soon as it was healed. I'm not 100% sure, but I kinda suspect that I might have forgotten to wash that pair of lenses before chucking them into my box of lenses. And only wore the lenses for no less than 4 hours. Anyway, my experience was pretty horrible but nothing very bad. Except for the fact that it really hurt even trying to blink or move my eyeballs and me looking like I just got punched..

Went to the clinic on Tuesday night, the doctor told me that it was just a sty forming and he would give me some eyedrops for it and some antibiotics. Truth to be told, he looked very unprofessional and messy. And on the next day, my eye was swollen like crazy, I couldn't even open my eyes when I woke up because it was so painful! The mild pain yesterday became intense pain. Went back to the same clinic in the morning, different doctor however, who seems more reliable and knows what she's doing, told me it was an inflammation and wrote me a referral letter to the eye specialist. Turns out it was an inflammation that was aggravated due to the eyedrops for the sty and there was no sty forming. Seems like I had an allergy to the drops. And there, I was prescribed with some pure eyedrops and some medicine.

It's day 2 now, swelling has gone down by about 65%, eyes hurt less and it's easier to do things now as compared to before. I could look to the side now, yay~ it's slowly slowly healing, although it still hurts, its only mild pain now.

So.. Please wait till your minor eye irritations are healed and wait for a week later (recommended by the specialist) before you wear lenses again, unless you wanna risk aggravating it. We only have a pair of eyes afterall!

And hundreds was spent on consulting the doctors, the specialist and on medicine. Imagine all the makeup and clothes I could buy!!!

Chapter 58: Online shopping haul! Part 1

I really really love online shopping, well, those friends that know me well enough that I rarely buy clothes from retail stores because.... They kinda overprice stuff too much, and I can't bear to part with my money too. Confessions of a fashion victim student.

Bought new platforms shoes! I swear, they are really really gorgeous for the affordable price I paid. Blue's mine and Red's my sister's.

POINT!!
Black spangled bodycon skirt, I really think it's pretty and not something you see everyday here! But I just don't know if I'll ever wear it because its a little too flashy and kinda uncomfortable with the spangles if you ask me. Nevertheless, still sexy and gives a glam-rock ish vibe. Can be used as a tube since its pretty much versatile.. But nahhh a spangled tube is definitely not for me.

Rose skirt that was on discount, initially hesitated but got it anyway since it was pretty cheap and I liked it. BUT, it was really weird when I wore it. Didn't like how the shape the skirt took on because my waist was too small. Made me feel like I was wearing a skirt made out of a paperbag! Still, its pretty nice, I might just unstitch and alter that if I feel like it.

Bought 2 faux leather bralets! I loved these 2 the most because quality wise, its worth the money I paid for and its the pretty, smooth, slightly stiffer and thicker non-cheap looking PU skin that I love! Just that.. The white one is WAY too big for me despite it being an S size. Its BIGGER A FREAKING BODY SIDE WIDTH OF MINE OKAY. It's that large. No problems with the black though. Prolly gonna send the white to the tailor's. <3

If anyone's interested in the white, I might let it go, just drop me an email and we can discuss. Singapore only :( Not old enough for paypal.

POINT!!
I love love love love this zip at the back! It just makes everything better, building it up to a more punk feel. It just feels so NANA. And I love Nana!!! I love punk style too. There was this point of time where I really idolized Nana Oosaki and wanted to dress and be like her, even now! I'm sure most girls who read NANA and love punk or fashion would have too.

Bought a large Nyanko-sensei bag to put my cosplay stuff in when I go for events....

A lace chiffon dress. Bought this because I absolutely loved the idea of a camisole-like dress and laced collar, just hate the large sleeves. I swear, the photo doesn't do this dress any justice.

Ribbon jeans!! I've been wanting this for ages!! And nope, this is not the right side up, it's supposed to be at the side but you can't exactly see anything though. Have worn this and will wear it more! MAD LOVE IT.

I hope you enjoyed it, there are more to come. <3
Goodnight!

Chapter 57: Nails!!

Hello! I've decided to share with you guys a little bit of what I have recently bought! My BFF, Shera was ordering some fake nails and some temporary tattoos for herself online, so she kind asked me if I wanted any. And me, being a sucker for pretty stuff told her "Yeaa why not?!!".

It arrived a few weeks back but I've never actually gotten to writing anything on my blog and it has been pretty much dead. BUT!!!! I have gotten my blogging mood back but I'm also kiiiiinda guilty for not posting up my makeup, coordinates and reviews of what I have just newly bought and tested out.. The stuff typical bloggers do. ANYWAY!!!!

I got some lace nail deco stickers from Shera because she ordered way too much. Oh well~~~

And my fake nails!! :D The designs are really different if you ask me. The first's really hime, second's a little more bright, kind of something a yamanba would wear? With more bling and longer nails of course. Third's really blinged up ageha-ish type. I can't have colored and nicely done nails due to school, plus I'm not one to stick to a certain type of style because the way I dress depends on my mood so this, different nails to match different styles! But I definitely would not be applying these when it isn't during the holidays though.. Because it's too annoying to have to glue it and then remove it with the special nail glue remover thingy. I just don't want to end up ripping my real nails off together with the fake nails :(

And lastly, the fake tattoos. I'm not one to stay committed to something for long, so yes, instead of investing on something long term, why not something easy to apply, cheap and temporary? It's much prettier anyway, I just do not like how the real tattoos fade over time into a ugly blue black color..

I have to sleep now, I've got school tomorrow xD. I just really really hope that I can finish posting what I want to post in my blog. Believe me, I have LOTS I wanna do and wanna post, but I can't because my webcam is screwing up on me and stuff like that. It's ridiculous that my new laptop doesn't have a recording or picture taking function! *rolls eyes* It is SO SO SO SO! Annoying!! (The so is meant to be read with an emphasis, SO! XD)

Goodnight!

Chapter 56: A simple look!

Hello! I'm trying to post more often..
Anyways, I tried to do a natural look that looks good with spectacles and I think it turned out pretty well! Yes, I realize one side of my fake eye lash came out, I apologize! XD The lens used is iFairy Cara blue. It's very pretty, my favourite~

I used a brown palette I got from Daiso for just $2, so I guess this is doable even for those who want to achieve this look without spending too much money on colors you don't have. I have took pictures of the steps I used to make this look, so I'll probably post it once I can use my lappy! But not all steps because some parts weren't visible on pictures T_T But I'll explain in detail coupled with the shades I used!

And I will be posting up some items and clothings for sale and try to coordinate the items as well! I hope I'll be doing some gyaru make as I terribly terribly miss doing gyaru makeup. My latest online buys are going to arrive soon, and hopefully, I'll be able to share with you all too!

And I finally bought my MGR revengence top from Uniqlo! Yay!! I would buy a desperado one if the design was nicer.. T_T

Sorry if the image order is messed up! I'm posting with my phone and I'll fix it as soon as Im online!

So untill the next entry!! ♡♡♡
